	Read news in formats and at times designated by station management.   Announce commercials and infomercials as required by station programming.   Conduct and coordinate musical programmes and related arrangements.   Record programmes as directed by the station’s management.   Cues and starts recorded materials, maintains proper volume levels and monitors off-air transmissions to ascertain quality of sound reproduction.   Operates studio control room origination equipment including microphones, sound mixers, audio recorders, sound mixers and monitors.   Documents the broadcast programme log to maintain an accurate record of all transmitted materials noting discrepancies and deviations from scheduled programme material   Conduct interviews with special interest or designated personnel.   Responds to calls from listening audience regarding such matters as music selection   Conduct field commentaries on topics, subjects, events, places or persons of interest to listeners.   Perform other related duties as required by the job function.
